I think this group is interesting because it questions gender in an artistic way. Why is gender such a big role in society and why are people scared if anyone acts like their opposite gender? This group came across because the boyfriend of one of my best friends does drag and he goes to al kinds of drag shows. I love and respect drag! Im very happy that there is a whole community for people who enjoy drag and embrace the whole lgbtq community

I heard a lot of bad things about drag when i was younger, someone sad that they are "mietjes" a dutch word for "pussy's. I can't remember who tho. or my dad said to me that they wanted to be woman, but he loves gays, my uncle so his brother was gay. But it's still wrong because they want to dress like woman, they don't necessarily want to be woman. But i also thought it was just gay man dressing up in woman's clothes. But through internet, mostly through youtube i discovered that they were very powerful and you also had drag for straight men and drag for woman. But luckily i was brought up with mostly good information about lgbtq community.

People who don't support the LGBTQ community or don't understand it. People who have a religion which contains a hate against the LGBTQ community. They want to send the people of the LGBTQ to kamp's to make them "straight" or "normal" again. But also RuPauls drag race has a lot of stereotype drag, they don't have drag kings for example.

In Texas they had drag story hour. The event, in which drag performers read books to children, started in San Francisco four years ago to boost LGBTQ inclusivity at libraries.As its popularity grows across the country, anti-LGBTQ activists like Tracy Shannon are pushing back. She tries to shut down the whole operation. The lawsuit, which reads more like an anti-gay manifesto than a legal complaint, accused the city and LGBTQ groups of “brainwashing the children of Houston.” They were also accused of molesting children.

The show of drag story hour is still running!

When trump was in town in Engeland the whole LGBTQ community came outside to protest against him. This also includes drag queens AND kings!A drag performer said that even in Europe they are protesting against him.

Even though RuPauls drag race doesn't include drag kings they made a big step in the right direction. Hoping drag kings will also be added to the show!
